How does the Aerolase Neo treat Rosacea?

The Aerolase Neo laser treats rosacea by delivering targeted 1064 nm laser energy in very short pulses to reduce dilated vessels and suppress inflammation that contributes to redness and flushing. It offers a more comfortable, quicker, and skin-type inclusive option for rosacea redness management. But it is not a cure for rosacea; think of it as a highly effective tool in a broader rosacea-management plan.

Before and After

  • Through use of the advanced technology of 1064nm wavelength with 650 microsecond technology, it bypasses the superficial epidermis and penetrates the deep dermis to address causative factors of acne for patients of any age or skin type.

  • This can vary depending on skin and severity of the condition, but generally 4 to 6 sessions are required to achieve a good result. After that, the patient may need maintenance every few months depending on their skin type.

  • Patient should receive 1 treatment every one to two weeks.

    • Patients who are taking topical Retin-A, patients should wait 2 weeks before treatment

    • Herpes Simplex Labialis (fever blisters) can be activated by laser treatment, especially on the upper lip, and patients with a tendency for fever blistering can be started on antiviral medication before treatment.
